Olganna keeps it's Liverpool roots.

Since The Childwall Emporium opened, it's been more closed than open!

However that has not stopping it growing and building a huge following for it's craft kits and classes in the local area.

During lockdowns, owners Peter and Laura have built connections by creating craft kits to keep kids making like they would have in school, helping parents by coming up with new ideas week in and out. Their brown paper bags filled with crafty bits and pieces have been a massive hit!

When you walk into the shop you can see the woodworking expertise, and in fact the owners have their own brand Elebora. The fixtures and fittings are creative and functional, creating a calming softwood display space housing a wonderful array of gift ideas.

This is my old patch so I am loving going back and keeping the connection. I met Peter and Laura years ago, while we were trying our hand at outdoor craft markets on what seemed like the windiest days ever!

The shop is actually a massive space and is just perfect for running craft classes upstairs which I know they are keen to get going again after the successes they've had in just a small space of time before lockdown.

The location of this shop is just off the M62 and on the way into Liverpool city centre. It is not far from Allerton Road which is well known for it's indie shops, bars and restaurants and which is also home to the famous Penny Lane.
