I've only gone and sorted a brand ID out after 4 years in the biz. I've got a colour pallette, some fonts and some creativity back. I can't tell you how pleased I am to finally get this stuff sorted. And wonder - what's held me back?
Who cares?? I'm not thinking about that now, I'm thinking about forward. And it's all systems go!
I've been listening / reading / learning from all the super top handmade / marketing / social networking people I can find on the internet and feel inspired / happy / positive.
So move over black...
Christmas that's what.
I honestly thought this year I'm ready, so organised that I won't be caught out.
I have lots of pressie's, lots of fabric in and stock made up. Craft fairs booked.
But no, every day seems to be a mad panic.
Oh well, I'll get through it. This website is not working it's way into the fabulous online experience I have in my head so I've linked everything to Etsy, so at least the 100's of business cards I'm giving away...
Here is the 1st stab at my new cotton top. It's rough and no where near ready but pleased as punch since I haven't made a pattern or sewn a garment for about 15 years!
Well by day 4 of #Marchmeetthemaker I had failed. Oh dear. I did complete the challenge though and posted something for all 31 days in the month of March, however not actually on the correct day. Actually not even in the correct month but read on and see the whole story of my biz so far unravel....
