I've only gone and sorted a brand ID out after 4 years in the biz. I've got a colour pallette, some fonts and some creativity back. I can't tell you how pleased I am to finally get this stuff sorted. And wonder - what's held me back?  Who cares?? I'm not thinking about that now, I'm thinking about forward. And it's all systems go!  I've been listening / reading / learning from all the super top handmade / marketing / social networking people I can find on the internet and feel inspired / happy / positive.  So move over black...

The Olganna brand I've had in mind for a very long time. As long as I've wanted to run/own/start my own business. It started out as a shop when I was in college, but technology has moved on and internet based is where I'm at now.  My name is Helen Grochowina. Not very catchy so I knew I had to come up with something else. My uncle joked once about Gucci, Chanel, Fendi, Grochowina. I repeat, not very catchy and it's been there, in the back of my mind along with Olganna.  Olga is my Nanna. 93 years old and now living...

Day 3 of ‪#‎marchmeetthemaker‬ and the theme is 'workspace'. Taken me a long time to get one!! So I am super pleased to show you. I need stuff on the walls but I am planning atm so it's a bit bare. Atop my desk is my sewing machine, my angle poised desk lamp which I love, hanging from which are my tape measures. The bookcase houses my ribbon, felt, velcro all my components right by my side and my rulers. Kate often pops in with a drawing for me which is the pile of post it'...s on the desk. And...
