Each week our crafters will spend an hour in a creative zone where we will explore different crafts. Crafts are great for mental health, working together, exploring new ideas and building confidence.
All materials are included and each week, crafters will have a finished piece to take home. Please note that some weeks the activity may span 2 sessions so we can use greater depth in our creations.
There are only 16 places available in each session.
The 1st 2 sessions of this term have been a 2 week wreath making project creating a decorative piece to take home.
There are now 4 sessions left.
* Please note that after booking, a separate form will be sent to you to complete, using the email address you have provided.
The collage below shows what we've been doing in weeks 1 and 2. Across the 2 weeks we created a fabric rag wreath.
Crafters selected their own colours and crafted their own wreaths. This encouraged mindfulness after a busy day at school. In week 1 we chose our colours and began to see our creation take shape. In week 2 we added layers to create a piece rich in texture and the finished pieces will look lovely in their final decorative destinations.
Some were made as gifts and some as pieces for their bedrooms but each was unique and we had a great time working on them.
