Dandelion in Glossop always has a wonderful window display! With pride of place overlooking the bustling square, their bright and sunny windows show off the best artisan gifts you can find, and Olganna is one of it's stockists!
Having been there from day one, it's been brilliant to see the range grow, the customer base increase and meet the other crafters on the days when I pop in to restock.
The owner Helen opened Dandelion after dreaming about it for so long and luckily still finds time to stock her own handmade 3d box cards.
As well as being a well stocked gift shop they run a number of classes, which thanks to Helen's dedication have grown in popularity and admiration. These are varied and include kids clubs like junk modelling and Lego club and an assortment of classes for adults, including crochet, screen printing and jewellery making. And that really is just a snapshot of what's on!
Following in the theme of craft and creativity, the shop also stocks crafting materials, encouraging not only shopping local for gifts, but being creative and having a go yourself.
Situated in the Peak District, Glossop is a vibrant market town which is attracting independent retailers with it's friendly and charming centre. It's proximity to some of the most beautiful scenery and walks is an added bonus and it really is well worth a visit.
