With years of crochet and knitting experience and hundreds of completed projects behind her, Helen from Hooked to Perfection is known for her patient, supportive teaching style. Working in a small group setting, you'll receive plenty of individual guidance as you progress through each week.

Over four enjoyable sessions, you'll build your skills gradually through carefully chosen projects designed to introduce new techniques at the perfect pace. By the end of the course, you'll have the confidence to read patterns, follow instructions independently, and create a range of crochet projects at home.

What You'll Learn

Week 1 - Master the Basics

Learn how to hold your yarn and hook, create foundation chains and work the essential beginner stitches. You'll put your new skills into practice by creating your first granny square.

Week 2 - Reading Patterns & Developing Skills

Learn how to read crochet patterns, understand common abbreviations and terminology, and continue developing your granny square techniques while building confidence with pattern reading.

Week 3 - Crochet Accessory Project

Put your growing skills into action by creating your own crochet accessory (hat or scarf in variegated yarn), introducing new techniques and helping you gain greater control and consistency.

Week 4 - Amigurumi Plushie

Bring everything you've learned together to crochet your very own adorable jellyfish plushie toy. This fun final project introduces shaping and construction techniques while showcasing how far you've progressed.
