After doing several of Helen’s project courses, I signed up for this one to learn new skills. It didn’t disappoint! Multiple pockets, adding zips, adding a magnet clasp and adjustable strap. Helen was very patient and gave lots of help where needed. I wasn’t able to finish on the night, but have now completed it using the written instructions that Helen provides Great fun and wondering what project to do next.
After attending two previous classes for tote bag and beach bag was looking forward to this one.
Skill’s learnt from previous classes come in handy for this one.
It didn’t disappoint 🙂
Lovely ladies (who we meet on previous classes) and of course the lovely patient Helen who we kept busy last night.
Looking forward to the next project?
I would 100% recommend
Thankyou Helen x
See you on the next one 🤞xx
Another few enjoyable hours with lovely ladies last night making a cross body bag. End product is lovely. Thrilled with the quality and choice of materials.
Helen is such a wonderful, patient and kind teacher. Her help and positivity is infectious. Always there to give clear, concise instructions and demonstrations.
It's such a treat coming to one of her classes, and I would encourage anyone to " give it a go"...you will surprise yourself.
Thankyou again, Helen. Give yourself a pat on the back for job well done xx👏❤️
Had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours making a lovely little jewellery bag. Just right for popping in your suitcase. I then went home and made another to give as a gift. I particularly enjoyed learning new techniques and how to use rivets.
Helen provides clear instructions/demonstrations and as there are written instructions to take away it’s easy to make more at home.
I bought my sewing machine a while ago and used it mostly for hemming and repairs, but wanted to expand my skills. When I saw Helen's courses I knew I had to give them a go. And I am SO glad I did.
I have done the beginner's course which taught me more about my machine and the fact we all completed a tote bag was a bonus!
I have done a couple of her project classes so far - the reusable kitchen cloths which taught me how to apply press studs, and the make up bag which helped me get over my fear of making things with zips!
Helen is a bubbly, inspiring teacher who obviously puts a lot of thought into planning her lessons.
I look forward to doing more of Helen's project courses and further increasing my confidence and skills with my sewing machine.
