Absolute Beginners Sewing Class - Let's get to know our machines and lose the fear! 

Build Your Sewing Confidence – One Stitch at a Time

If you have a machine but don't know where to start - or don't have a machine and want to try - This is for you! 

Join a 2-hour group sewing session at The Studio, Shaw Road Royton, OL2 6NZ designed to help you gain confidence and attempt a small project.

USE MY SEWING MACHINE, and I'll provide all the materials, guidance, and encouragement. Along with a cup of tea and a great atmosphere. 

In this class I will show you how to - 

Thread you machine / Understand tension / Changing the needle / Simple maintenance / Stitch length / What all the dials do / Starting and stopping / Backtacking / Winding the bobbin / Hints and tips / Top stitching / Changing Direction and lots more...

We will practice examples together, and you'll go away with confidence you need to start a simple project.

• £30 per session

You will only need this 1 beginner session to enable you to book onto the project classes. This session will give you the skills and confidence to sew your own projects.
