Younger Learners Beginners Sewing Class - Building Sewing Confidence – One Stitch at a Time !

This is a small group class for ages 9 to 14. 

Join a 2-hour group sewing session at M24 Arts and Craft in Middleton, designed to help you gain confidence and attempt a small project.

Bring your own sewing machine or borrow one of mine. I provide all the materials, guidance, and encouragement.

In this class I will show you how to - 

Thread you machine / Understand tension / Changing the needle / Simple maintenance / Stitch length / What all the dials do / Starting and stopping / Backtacking / Winding the bobbin / Hints and tips / Top stitching / Changing Direction and lots more...

We will practice examples together, and you'll go away with confidence you need to start a simple project. 

Here is what you need to know -

• Saturday 1 - 3 pm
• Small supportive Group
• £30 per session

After I receive your booking I will get touch to see if you need a machine or will bring your own. 

Parents / carers are welcome to stay, just book 1 place. You can help them or sit and relax.
